Since when is a Ketchup packet Newsworthy? Since Chick-fil-A came out with the coolest new ketchup packets! Have you seen them?

First of all, one of these guys is the same amount of ketchup as three of the older ones, which means less waste!

But it gets better! With these new packets, you have more options on how you use your ketchup! 

Want to drizzle the ketchup all over your waffle fries? Just tear off the cap and squeeze. Want to dunk those nuggets? Just peel back at the bottom and dip!

We think the new ketchup packets are the cherry on top of a tasty Chick-fil-A experience!

Lemonade Day Celebration

Last Saturday we promoted Lemonade Day at our store on Holcombe & Buffalo. You can check out Lemonade Day at www.lemonadeday.org. It’s a day to celebrate and teach entrepreneurship to the younger generation. 

Just by driving by, you could see something fun was going on:

At one booth were giveaways and information about Lemonade Day.

At the other, we shared our refreshing lemonade (and showed the ingredients needed to make it: lemons, sugar, water!):

Are you going to be involved in Lemonade Day? Why not buy some Chick-fil-A gallons for the event? If you see a young entrepreneur hosting a lemonade stand, why not buy a glass. Who knows? That child might be a Chick-fil-A owner some day!

We get asked from Raving Fans a lot what the secret to our lemonade is… and I’m willing to share!

First we take fresh, whole, Sunkist lemons. We then cut the lemons in half and squeeze out the juice. We add sugar (or Splenda for the diet lemonade) and water, then chill and enjoy! Yep! It’s that simple! No powders, no additives… just pure lemon juice, sugar and water.

We’ll have activities for the kiddos, a stand set up to show you our lemonade making process, free samples of our delicious lemonade AND a chance to sign your child up for the official Lemonade Day!

Why Free Breakfast?

If there’s one thing I enjoy it’s a tasty breakfast. Something about that “most important meal” that seems to get my day off to a good start. Plus, I notice that I tend to make better choices at lunch because I’m not crazy hungry. 

This morning, we GAVE AWAY 475 Chick-fil-A Sausage Biscuits. That's 475 people who got a special kick-start to their morning. There were no exceptions, no “you have to buy this to get that”, no “I have to see your coupon”. Just 475 no-strings-attached Sausage Biscuits given to 475 happy guests who got a chance to see, taste and feel what it’s like to start your day off with Chick-fil-A!

                 

Speaking of starting your day off… here’s a photo of a typical Chick-fil-A breakfast:

 What’s pictured is a Chick-fil-A Chicken Biscuit. They come in regular and spicy (my favorite) and with your choice of jam or honey (or both!). Add a little fruit to kick start your daily quota of fruits and vegies and a little coffee for a pep in your step. Delightful! 

                

 So why give away 475 Chick-fil-A Sausage Biscuits? Well, we believe that we were able to put a smile on all of those 475 guests—and that makes us smile. But it’s not just that (after all we are a business) it’s also our belief that many of those 475 will want to repeat their good experience and come back again for another tasty way to start the day. Or maybe they’ll tell their friends or post it on Facebook. After all, a business giving away something away for no-strings-attached-free is pretty newsworthy.

                 

So for these reasons we gave away 475 complete Chick-fil-A Sausage Biscuits this busy morning. Were you the recipient of one? If not… no worries! We’re doing it again next Thursday!
